Farshid Moussavi MArch ’91 and Lyndon Neri MArch ’92 Receive American Academy of Arts and Letters 2025 Architecture Awards
Among this year’s recipients of the American Academy of Arts and Letters 2025 Architecture Awards, two GSD Alumni were honored.
Farshid Moussavi MArch ’91 was awarded the Arnold W. Brunner Memorial Prize for her significant contribution to architecture as an art. Farshid is Professor in Practice of Architecture at Harvard University Graduate School of Design and founder of the London-based architecture practice Farshid Moussavi Architecture (FMA). A prolific writer and public speaker, Farshid is deeply committed to art, education, and culture. The Arnold W. Brunner Memorial Prize began in 1955 as the first architecture award given by the American Academy of Awards and Letters.
Neri&Hu Design and Research Office, an inter-disciplinary architectural design practice co-founded by Lyndon Neri MArch ’92 and Rossana Hu, was honored with an Arts and Letters Award in Architecture for work that is “characterized by a strong personal direction.” In addition to this achievement, Lydon is a newly elevated AIA Honorary Fellow, a prestigious designation for international architects.
