Mark Favermann MCRP ’78 of Boston-based firm Favermann Design, was interviewed for a segment on local TV station WCVB about his 2005 public art project, which is permanently on display at Audubon Circle on Beacon Street, where Boston meets Brookline. Designed by Favermann in his carriage house design studio, the piece features 20 birds, all local species, crafted from aluminum and welded and painted like a car. The birds, which sit on lamp posts, are designed to last and makes for a unique gateway to Boston. Watch a video of the segment here.
