1516 GSD Tour Date Change flyer

Join the GSD Alumni Council for an evening of design, reconnection, and conversation at 1516, a recently completed adaptive reuse project in Chicago’s West Loop. Designed by GSD alum Annabell Ren MAUD ’16, Principal at Converge Architecture, the space reflects a thoughtful approach to community-centered design.

Featured in Architectural Record, 1516 transforms a historic warehouse into a vibrant hub—home to a flower shop, a bookstore, Maxwell Trading restaurant, an innovation kitchen, and a working rooftop farm.

The tour, led by Annabell, will begin at the main entrance and guide us through each space, concluding with a visit to the rooftop farm. We’ll wrap up the evening in the Third Season Room, an apothecary and design store on the first floor, where we’ll open a couple of bottles of wine and enjoy relaxed conversation and reconnection with fellow alumni.

Register here.

Organized by Ethan Lassiter MUP ’15 and Stacy Morton Callighan MArch ’13.
