The Extreme Urbanism III studio, led by Rahul Mehrotra, professor and department chair, Urban Planning and Design, explores the intersection of critical conservation and urban planning and design. This month Loeb Fellows joined studio students and students in the MDes Critical Conservation program in Agra, India, for a close study of the conditions and opportunities that can propel the city forward toward a more sustainable future for its citizens, its historical treasures and its environment.

Dispatches by the Critical Conservation students and other members of the group provide a broad picture of the studio’s activities. Read them in the LOEBlog.
