In conjunction with Art Basel in Miami Beach and Design Miami/ 2019, you are invited to join fellow GSD alumni on an inspiring tour of curated projects, which include interventions by GSD alumni Sharon Johnston MArch ’95, Mark Lee MArch ’95, Lisa Iwamoto MArch ’93, and Daniel Toole MAUD ’16. Other projects include Keenan/Riley’s Museum Garage, Sou Fujimoto’s “crystallized showers of sunlight” for the Palm Court facade, Frei Otto’s saddle shaped tent structure, and many others. The tour will be led by Florida International University’s David Rifkind, associate professor of architecture and interim chair of landscape architecture and environmental and urban design. Join us for a tour of Miami Design District followed by drinks and bites at the offices of Dacra.

 

The tour will start in the District’s Palm Court, next to the Buckminster Fuller Fly’s Eye Dome. The tour will conclude at Dacra’s offices for a gathering amidst Craig Robins’ art and design collection.
