Join GSD alumni and friends for a panel discussion between Harvard GSD faculty and MUJI designers. The conversation at the MUJI store will address the following questions—How do architects and product designers think about materials today? What do we learn from carefully observing human behavior? How does technology impact our design thinking? And what areas of fertile overlap exist between academic research and industrial production?
Featuring presentations by Sawako Kaijima, Assistant Professor of Architecture (GSD); Hiroshi Seki and Jody Wong, Designers at MUJI Planning & Design Office; moderated by Mark Mulligan MArch ’90, Associate Professor in Practice of Architecture (GSD).
Presentations and panel discussion will be followed by a reception.
