Tour of the New International District Library, Albuquerque NM

This site walk included presentations about the architecture of the new International District Library as well as the landscape architecture of the outdoor Story Plaza. These important civic spaces are the next step in a multi-year long initiative to help build community capacity and community pride in Albuquerque’s International District. Attendees were joined by Dean Smith, The Library Director for the City of Albuquerque, whose work has been instrumental in making this project happen, as well as the continued guidance of its daily operations.
