Join fellow GSD alumni for a conversation with team members of the U.S. Pavilion at the 2018 Venice Biennale Architettura: Dimensions of Citizenship. At a gathering hosted by Studio Gang, we will learn about the pavilion’s curatorial themes and featured transdisciplinary teams, as well as the multiple programming hosted this summer in Venice.

This event is organized by GSD Alumni Council members Paola Aguirre MAUD ’11 and Frank Lee MAUD ’79.

 

Speakers will include:

Ann Lui, Curator of Dimensions of Citizenship, Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Designed Objects at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and co-founder of Future Firm

Iker Gil, Associate Curator of Dimenions of Citizenship, Lecturer in the Department of Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Designed Objects at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, director of MAS Studio, and founder of MAS Context

Jonathan Salomon, Representative Commissioner of Dimensions of Citizenship, Associate Professor and Director of the Department of Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Designed Objects, School of the Art Institute of Chicago
