Installation by Ethen Wood MArch ’02 Voted Top Pavilion
An installation designed by Ethen Wood MArch ’02 of Kuth Ranieri Architects was voted top pavilion and awarded the People’s Choice Award at the Market Street Prototyping Festival. Designed to create a place of respite on the busy sidewalk of San Francisco’s primary thoroughfare, SonoGROTTO is one of three dozen installations created for the 2016 Market Street Prototyping Festival. It consists of hundreds of cardboard tubes, ranging from 6 to 24 inches in diameter, fastened together to create a protected but open enclosure.
