Joseph R. Favour, ASLA, MLA ’94 was recently named Head of the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Minnesota. His official appointment begins June 13, 2016. According to Interim Dean Becky L. Yust, Ph.D, “As interim department head over the last year, Joe has done an exemplary job leading the department through successful faculty and staff searches, the yearly budgeting and student recruitment process, as well as working with LA faculty and staff on department priorities. Further, he has been an excellent colleague as a member of the college’s senior leadership group and has been a strong partner in helping move our college forward on a variety of issues.”
